Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket

The hotel is very well located, with excellent access to public transportation, and many places can easily be reached on foot. The rooms are perfectly fine and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was okay, nothing too special, mainly British-style, with a few additional options available.

From the very first minutes, you can feel the care and attention — we were warmly welcomed, checked in quickly, and all our questions were answered. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, yet it’s quiet and cozy, which is especially nice after a day of walking around the city. The breakfast is not just tasty but truly well thought out, with a good variety and quality ingredients. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed — we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. A place you genuinely want to return to and can confidently recommend.

Good location, couple of minutes walk from Haymarket station and several bus routes. Called into the bar on Friday and Saturday nights after 10pm to be informed that the bar was closed. Room amenities were good with both a kettle and a coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Room does not have USB sockets which would have been beneficial for device charging.

Great location! It is very close to the Haymarket train station. The hotel offers 24hr front desk, room service and luggage storage. The staff was very helpful, they booked taxis for us and offered free dental kits. It is also very close to a Tesco, which can be handy. Overall a great option for short stays, with good price-quality.

Good value for money for a short stay. The location is great — walking distance to most places, which was really convenient. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The only downside was that the room was very cold. I contacted reception and was told it would be sorted, but the temperature didn’t really change. At checkout, I was told they keep the air conditioning on full, although I didn’t fully understand the explanation, which was a bit confusing. Other than this, it’s a good hotel overall and I’d recommend it for a short stay due to the location and value for money.

Great stay at the Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a really convenient location for getting around the city. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Would happily stay here again. Paid parking available

The location is perfect for traveling to Edinburgh. It has its own parking lot, making parking convenient. The staff were attentive and helpful, explaining things to me and offering assistance. The room was air-conditioned and at a comfortable temperature, had a coffee machine with great coffee, and a refrigerator. The room was well-equipped. While a little old, it was still reasonably priced. There are many different restaurants nearby, making it convenient for sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance to come back.

Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Able to drop bags off before check in and also when leaving, very helpful. Rooms are a little tired but would definitely stay again. Quieter than centre of Edinburgh and very walkable and safe to walk at night.
